If Christmas is a time to be thankful, Spencer Harvey is hugely thankful for the wonderful entries we have received from pupils at Cale Green Primary School. We set a challenge for the youngsters to draw us a Christmas themed picture and we have been absolutely overwhelmed by the tremendous response we have seen. We didn’t know how many budding artists there were at the school and the standard, quality and imagination in the illustrations we have received are of the highest standard.
There were three vouchers on offer for Toys “R” Us but we’re really glad we provided a prize for every participant because you can tell a lot of time and effort has been taken on so many of these entries. We know that kids are excited by Christmas but we also know that this is a really busy time of year for youngsters, their parents and their families so everyone at Spencer Harvey really does appreciate the time and effort taken by so many people to enter the competition.
Come and see the brilliant Christmas drawings
This is why we are delighted to say that all of the entries received for the Christmas drawing competition will be on display at our office. Our team have been working hard setting up window displays to display the great work from the local youngsters and we invite the local community to come along and see the drawings created by the kids from the local area. If you’re a parent, friend or family member of a child who submitted an entry, you definitely need to come along and see their work but we hope that people from across the community come along and join in the fun.
